Q.sunflowers attracting cucumber beetles
I read that sunflowers attract cucumber beetles away from cucumber plants. I planted the reddish variety. Do the sunflowers need to be the yellow kind?

No, I do not think the variety matters. Cucumber beetles are naturally attracted to all sunflowers.
