strawberry in tropic

Question

Can I know if the strawberry can be planted in tropic areas (34-39 degree C)? If it can grow, will it bear fruit?
Some people say we can grow strawberry in the tropics, but it will not bear fruit. Is it true? And how to see the difference between Sweet Charlie and Holland Strawberry.
