Q.strawberries

Zone EX31 2BG | Keith Bennett added on October 1, 2017 | Answered

After my strawberries had finished fruiting, I removed the protective straw and cut them back to ground level. They have since grown back again and look more healthy than before they fruited.
Do i cut them back again prior to the winter?
I had a very reasonable crop.

When the foliage turns red and goes flat to the ground, you can cut it back and mulch your strawberries for winter.
