Q.Strange growth

I have this regular succulent house plant that sprouted a strange flower growth from near its center. Is this part of the plant or another “foreign” plant which might need to be removed?

That is a flower cluster! Let it bloom. This only happens if it has the perfect environment to allow it to do so. Enjoy the blooms!
