Q.Storm Damage?

Yesterday we had a big storm in Ocean City NJ and today my weeping cherry, peach and rainier cherry tree along with my grapevine leaves got browned. Worst is the weeping cherry, but interestingly only half of the tree got damaged. Can it be from the storm?

Leaves wouldn't be brown unless the branches are broken or there is root damage. Here is what to do:
