Squash Problem

Question

My squash leaves started turning yellow. Some leaves underneath look dead. The yellow leaves are limp and not as sturdy as the green leaves. What could this be?

Lack of water can cause yellow leaves. Squash plants need 2 inches of water a week. I would check for pests also. This article should help:
