My spider plant has TONS of babies and now the leaves on main plants leaves are turning brown,brown down center margin , then down to tips, then die . What is causing this?

Make sure you do not water down into the crown of your plant. This can cause the center to die out.
It also could indicate your plant needs to be repotted and or divided.
