Q.something eating leaves on Gardenia

Something is eating the leaves on our Gardenia plant.

There are several things that might be eating the leaves. Typically if you do not see any pests, we say it is slugs or snails as these are nocturnal pests so you don't see them during the day. Check the plant carefully to see if you can spot pests and if you cannot, you can assume they are slugs/snails causing the damage.
