Q.Something Is Decimating My Stags Horn Sumach

Zone berkshire uk | lynda flower-williams added on June 6, 2023 | Answered

over a very short period of time ‘something’ is skeletonising my stags horn sumach. I presume it is an insect, but it must be either a swarm, or a very big one! should I spray it with insecticide? I am awaiting some castile soap from amazon to make my own spray. thanks for any advice.

It does appear that it could have been caused by an insect, but I would opt for a fungicide, as well! This will stave off any of the negative effects of the insects' feeding.
