Q.Something Ate Half Of My Daphne Plant During The Night. I Have A 3-4 Year Old Plant That Was Very Healthy Before This Happened!
My plants are in pots on a patio that deer can’t get to, so I’m at a loss as to what it could be! The same critter (I’m assuming) has also been eating my Pygmy date palm one frond at a time. And I also have two pots of lettuce that are untouched.

There are a few possibilities, but if that is cut at a roughly 45 degrees then rabbits are usually the culprit. There are other possibilities but this is most likely. This article will help:
