Q.Some Crepe Myrtles Are Not Blooming

Anonymous added on August 22, 2011 | Answered

We have 16 Crepe Myrtle trees in our yard. They are mature trees (4 yrs) and usually produce many vivid flowers. This year only a few trees have bloomed; of those, 2 trees were prolific but the 4 or 5 others that bloomed only had one or two clusters. The two trees that bloomed are now covered with aphids, the leaves are dark and I am afraid we will lose the trees. Help.
