Snapdragon Problem

Snappy added on June 2, 2011 | Answered

When I planted Snapdragons, they were lush with lots of flowers. I amended our sandy soil with some growing soil. The shoots get nice and tall but before they flower, the buds get hard and brown. I don't see bugs on them. What can I try?

They may not be getting enough water. Increase watering to the plants. Just to be on the safe side, I would treat the plants with a fungicide.
