Q.Size of planter required?
Which type of planter is needed to grow fox palm and red lipstick palm? i.e. size of a planter?

How big are the plants now? If they are small you wouldn't want to put them in a large container because it would cause them to sit in too much moisture. Your containers need to grow with the plant. Keep in mind that if you will be moving the containers around, you want a size you can manage. You also can buy rolling platforms to sit them on if they will be moved indoors and out.
I would not recommend anything over 15 gallons in size. This will become heavy and hard to move once established.
