Single Sweet William

Anonymous added on August 11, 2011 | Answered

Packet of Sweet William seeds showed one stem with cluster of flowers and biennial. Mine came up single flower and bloomed the same year I planted. What happened?

In warmer areas with longer summers, it is not unusual to see Sweet Williams bloom within their first season. However, blooms will not be as prominent or clustered until they have reached maturity.
