Q.Shrubs or bushes dying or diseased?
How can i tell if my shrub is dead. I have a couple of bushes, one which is a hydrangea bush. The leaves are green but the flowers are brown and brittle. I also have a “little devil” shrub and it is wilting , is brittle and appears to be dying . Are they diseased?

If branches snap or break off, they are dead.
Live branches will bend.
You can also scratch the bark to see if it is alive.
