Q.Shrub to Keep My Dog Away

Anonymous added on June 8, 2011 | Answered

I have an empty patch of dirt, next to a fence, that receives little sunlight. My dog continues to dig holes in this area. I want to find a nice looking shrub to keep my dog from digging in the area. Any suggestions?

You might try barberry. It can tolerate shade and looks nice, but has some rather long thorns, so animals tend to avoid it.
