Q.Should I Remove the New Growth to Restore Green Color to My Palms?

Zone central NY | Anonymous added on August 6, 2013 | Answered

I have 2 central growths at least twice the length of the 4 palms on my bonsai sago palm. They are unfurling broad leafs and my palms are losing their color. The palms are mostly yellow.

Your sago is probably a young plant and growing at it's normal pace. I'm not aware of a true 'bonsai' sago palm. the following link will take you to several articles about sago palms: http://www.google.com/cse?cx=012078378210706707791%3Af1h5n_k1r5e&ie=UTF-8&q=sago+palm&oq=sago+palm&gs_l=partner.3..0l10.186040.188749.0.190731.9.4.0.5.5.0.239.688.0j3j1.4.0.gsnos%2Cn%3D13.1.0.0.2657j1006883j9..1ac.1.l4B3h3662eI#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=sago%20palm&gsc.page=1

The second article listed should be the one that answers your question more fully.
