Q.Should I dig out my clematis?

Zone L3C1G1 | Anonymous added on June 18, 2018 | Answered

I was wondering if I could leave my clematis and hoping it will come back
I was checking my clematis when I noticed the vine drooping
I looked closely it was cut off at bottom
I’m not sure if it was a rabbit or squirrel bite it

Clematis have a very strong root system and will most likely grow back from the roots with some time.

You can add some protective fencing around the plant to keep critters from snacking on your plant.
