Q.shamrock plants

Zone Dawson Creek British Columbia Canada | ssoutar added on November 21, 2016 | Answered

I recently moved my shamrocks and all of the shoots are falling down. Should I cut them off? According to your web site, they hibernate and I should put them in a dark room. I have never done that before, should I start now?

Yes, when the shoots die back, your plants will appreciate being moved into darkness and the other hibernation conditions described in the article. When new shoots appear, you can move it back into the light and resume normal care.
