Q.shade for cool weather planting

What do you suggest for temporary shade to cool the soil when making early cool weathercrop transplants?

We recommend shading the area with a translucent cloth cover. It will help shade out the area, keeping it cool, until ready for planting while protecting the new plants from receiving sunscald.
