Saving Bell Pepper Seeds For Planting Next Year

I dried my seeds on a paper towel, but they all seem to turn color, sort of yelloew with a dark ring on the edges. When I purchase seeds, they are the same color as when I open my picked pepper. What am I doing wrong? Carl Stetler [e-mail]
