Saving a Eucalyptus Plant that came in flower arrangement?

I was given a flower arrangement after my mom’s
funeral service the flowers died and I would love to save the Eucalyptus out of it I need advice on what to do
If at all possible. Would like to keep it inside.

Though it is possible to root Eucalyptus from cuttings, in the case of the cut stems in the arrangement, I don't think this would be successful.
You can dry Eucalyptus very easily and it will last for a very long time.
