Q.Sago Palm Care

Anonymous added on May 20, 2011 | Answered

We have huge sago palms and had colder weather than usual with snow. My husband cut all the leaves off, so now it is just a large stump or the middle with no new leaves coming out. It is still hard and there are new ones growing at the base. How do I determine if it is dead or what?

This cold has damaged many plants this year. You will need to remove any yellow and brown fronds but do not remove any green.
