Q.Sago palm winterizing and leaf care

Zone Weatherford, OK 73096 | Anonymous added on October 27, 2018 | Answered

I have sago palms in containers winterizing in the garage. Thankfully they have grown quite large over the 4 years I’ve had them, but the stems are taking up a lot of space in the garage. May I tie the fronds up for the winter?

You can, but just be on the lookout for mold or pest issues. This can be a problem here as these aren't normally bound in that fashion. As long as you let it loose occasionally, then I see no problem Here.
