Q.Sago Palm Pruning

Zone dont know | plantsforme2012 added on December 15, 2011 | Answered

What if my sago pups do not have roots on them when I take them from the mother plant? What do I do, and what kind of soil is best to use while they are potted?

I would not remove pups from the mother untill they have an adequate root system. This article should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/palms-trees/propagate-palm-pups.htm
