Sago Palm Trees

Sago Palm

Anonymous added on June 13, 2015 | Answered

We have one sago Palm that is not showing any new growth. Only the tan bulb in the middle appears tightly closed. This plant had a white fungus on it last year, which we treated. Our plants are approximately 8 years old. The other sago is growing in the middle but all new growth has browning leaves. Please advise how we should treat both of our palms.

For the other one, it sounds like it may have a secondary fungus which is killing the new growth. Treat the plant with a fungicide.
