Q.Rubber Plant

Anonymous added on February 28, 2014 | Answered

My rubber plant keeps dropping its leaves. I read an article on this site where it says I might be over watering it, but I water it once a week. Can this cause the leaves to fall? Thank you.

You should only water these plants when when the top of the soil is dry. I would suggest letting the plant dry out some before watering again and eventually the leaves should regrow...provided it hasn't gotten root rot. This article will help you check for root rot: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/disease/treating-root-rot-gardening-tips-for-housplants.htm
