Garden Rowan Trees in full blossom have had significant amounts of branches removed and remaining blossom turned brown over night. Have the trees been damaged

It is best to prune when the tree is still dormant, in late winter. Also, never remove more than 25 to 30 percent of a tree or shrub at one time. I'm sure the tree is in shock. Keep it well watered and follow its normal care instructions and it may recover in time. A weakened tree is also more susceptible to insects and disease so watch for those. Here is more:
