Rose bush in pot has developed very light green and yellow leaves, is otherwise healthy with several buds. What is reason for discolored leaves?

In what zone do you live? I think your rose might be getting cold in the pot. Just plant is as soon as possible and protect from winter cold. Other reason for yellowing rose leaves might be lack of nutrients or not enough water.
