Q.Rose Of Sharon Tree Branch Is Breaking From The Tree

Zone 90249 | Anonymous added on February 10, 2023 | Answered

New homeowner and new gardener. The branch that is breaking off of the tree is dead, the rest starting to grow leaves. How do I cut off the dead branch without damaging the rest of the tree. Lastly there is a palm growing close to the tree and it’s branches are intermingling with the hibiscus. Is that probably the cause of the issue? Thanks for your help
