Q.rhubarb turning yellow
I put organic nitrogen on my rhubarb (following directions) and my rhubarb is turning yellow. What do I do now?
Fertilizing Rhubarb The year after planting, it's a good idea to fertilize your rhubarb plants in early spring, before the plant begins to sprout significantly. Use an all purpose fertilizer - a 10-10-10 formula works well. Compost or well rotted manure also works well as a fertilizer.
Even an organic fertilizer can burn plants; try watering the soil well.
Repeat every few days; the plant should show signs of recovery.
