Q.Rhododendrons

Sandrameyers added on June 2, 2017 | Answered

Deer ate all the leaves off of my Rhododendron during the winter. I have since relocated them to a fenced in area. Will the leaves grow back.

Light pruning is required and also a heavy mulch to cover the root ball from the heat if there are no leaves shading it. If the plant is too large prune one side at a time. I mean prune in the spring one side and in the fall another side. The plant will not do well with heavy pruning.
