Q.Repotting String of Pearls

Zone 48130 | salsasue added on April 1, 2016 | Answered

I am worried about what will happen when I attempt to re-pot this gorgeous plant. The pot it’s in is actually disintegrating and it must be re-potted. I think the current soil will just crumble apart- so…what do you suggest?
Thank you.

Re-potting a mature plant should always be undertaken with care so as to avoid damaging the plant or the roots. The easiest way to re-pot your String of Pearls might be to just hold the plant over the new pot and remove the old disintegrating pot while letting the soil fall into the new pot.
