Q.Repotting an orchid

I’ve read that potting soil should be boiled before use to kill germs. Do you agree? I just purchased Phalaenopsis AAA Imperial Orchid Mix.

If you would like to then it wouldn't hurt. I have many orchids, that I have planted directly into the mix. They do very well with the proper lighting, humidity, and a little weakly mixed orchid fertilizer every few weeks.

Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/orchids/phalaenopsis-orchids-post-bloom.htm
