Q.Removal of Yucca stumps

Anonymous added on October 13, 2014 | Answered

We have cut down our Yucca trees and want to poison the stumps. Our concern is that 3 of the stump/root systems are close to a mature Blackboy tree. Could poisoning the Yucca stumps affect the Blackboy root system?

If you dig down around the stumps, drill some holes in them and then pour some Roundup in them, this should take care of the yucca and the other tree should be ok, as it would only be targeted to the roots of the yucca - but take care not to expose the roots of your Blackboy.
