Is it possible to get a tulip or a daylily to rebloom once it has blossomed?

A Tulip bulb will only bloom one time each Spring. Then the bulb gathers energy and must go through a chill and dormancy period.

Daylily is a perennial that can bloom from Spring through late Summer, depending on the variety. There are some cultivators that bloom more then one time in a growing season.
