Q.Re: Replanting Sassafras Trees

Somewhere in the past I read that when replanting a sassafras seedling, you must make sure and replant it in the same North/South/East/West orientation in which it was originally growing. Is this true? Thanks.

I researched several reputable sources such as University extension websites and none of them mentioned that about transplanting sassafras.
