Pygmy Date Palm

Hi can you tell me what the root system is like for this palm? If I planted it near a concrete wall 8-9 inches, would it infringe?

They have very shallow, and non-invasive root systems! As long as you give the palms plenty of room to spread, they will not do any harm. Here is an article for more information on their care:
