Q.PURPLE FOUNTAIN GRASS

I brought my purple fountain grasses inside the garage in fall, I watered them once a month. A few weeks ago I divided them to make more plants, the roots looked healthy but there is no new growth yet? What do I need to do? Help!!!

If you are in zone 9, you should be able to keep it in the ground over winter. But since it wintered in a garage, it needs gradual warming and more light to start growing again. Here is more in this article:
