Q.Pruning Back Violas

Zone OL6 8RE | Anonymous added on June 20, 2023 | Answered

I’ve had some winter flowering viola in my garden since last September which have not stopped flowering since. However they have now gone leggy. If I cut them back will they flower again?

You can pinch them back and they should regrow. Mine get so thick, I also pull out a bunch, because they reseed so easily.
