Q.Pruning A Wild Quinine Plant
My wild quiinine is 3 years old and 3 ft tall. Is the wood from each year dead and it comes back from the ground like a perienial hibiscus. Can I cut the branches to the ground?

You can cut it back after your gardens succumb to a hard freeze or just wait till spring to cut it back if any of the stems are still standing. It is an herbaceous perennial which means it dies back to the ground in winter. It will return in spring.
