Q.Pruning a ponytail palm

Zone 92508 | My.hunny.bear added on August 22, 2016 | Answered

My ponytail palm has flowered and I would like to know the proper way to prune it. Do I just cut the top off and, if so, how low on the flower stalk? Or do I just let it go until it dies off?

Thank you
