Can Lingonberry plants be grown from cuttings of another Lingonberry? If so, how? Any Tips?

According to Cornell University, lingonberries are frequently grown from cuttings: http://www.fruit.cornell.edu/berry/production/pdfs/Lingonberries.pdf
Take new growth cuttings in late summer and root them in moistened pots of 1:1 sand and peat mixture.
