Q.Propagating Spider Plant

I have had to rewrite this now a few times so long story short, I had a spider plant killed by frost last fall and nothing has regrown this winter despite once weekly watering and being indoors under a plant light. Was hoping it was just dormant. Ended up digging into the pot and found a ton of tubers that are quite healthy. I have researched this and come across conflicting information, so my question is, can you get new spider plants from these tubers? Most sources of information don’t even talk about the tubers, but a few sites discussed that these tubers are what the rosettes and eventual stalks grow from. Other sites say that they are only a food and nutrition source and will not grow into plants.

Since you watered it all winter and nothing regrew, I suggest starting with a new plant. The fleshy tubers could just be storage organs. Here is more:
