Propagating plants

In your article about propagating crape myrtles, you said to cover with a plastic bag. What kind of plastic bag? Do I use clear, or can I use a Walmart type of bag? Also, would the use of large soda bottles or milk containers work as well. Thanks for your response.

A clear bag is best, though a soda bottle or milk container are great choices too.
