Q.Promoting Root Growth

Anonymous added on June 14, 2011 | Answered

How can I promote root growth in my squash plants? Lots of rain lately and not much sun. Maybe my soil has been too wet. The leaves are growing but not much roots, and leaves yellowing and sagging.

Adding more phosphorus, like bone meal, to the soil will help encourage stronger root growth and development.
