Q.prayer lily

Anonymous added on December 10, 2014 | Answered

I have a prayer lily that the leaves are browning and drying out. All the leaves are doing this. I do not want to lose this plant because it is from my dad’s funeral. What can I do to save this?

The prayer plant is sensitive to being underwatered. Unlike most houseplants, the soil should be kept moist at all times--do not allow it to dry out. Other possible causes of browning could be dry air or too much direct light. Mist the foliage often and make sure it has bright, indirect light. Also, remove the affected leaves.
