Q.Poppies

My poppy comes up every year with three or four leaves. Then the leaves start dying off one my one, but also has new leaves coming on. Eventually the plant just dies out and never blooms. I planted it four years ago and it only bloomed once. What is wrong with my poppy?

It could be that you are outside of their natural hardiness zone. You may tro to sow some indoors, and see if you have different results. Here is an article about growing poppies: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/poppy/growing-poppy-flowers.htm
