Q.Ponytail Palm Roots
I have concerns re: my pony tail Palm. It is growing very fast (8-10 feet high) and a few inches from my concrete slab patio. It broke out of its plastic pot and I am worried it will crack the patio concrete. Shall I have it cut down ? I live in central Florida.

Perhaps it can be moved. The trunk can get up to 7 feet wide so your concern is valid. Here is more information about it:
