Q.Ponytail palm

Anonymous added on September 11, 2015 | Answered

Can my new ponytail palm be able to survive ok in New Smyrna Beach Florida if planted outside? I am prepared to let it mature enough for this. What is mature enough for this area? Is there anything I need to know other than the few instructions I received when I ordered my palms that I need to know for this particular area?

Yes, it is fine to leave your ponytail palm outdoors in your zone (9b). These plants are hardy in zone 9-12, so yours should do well without any special care.
